Paul Thornton-Jones

Paul Thornton-Jones is an experienced media executive with a diverse background in digital strategy and business development. Currently serving as Controller of Distribution Ventures at BBC since August 2017, Paul also holds multiple Non-Executive Director positions at Everyone TV, Freeview, Radioplayer, and YouView TV Limited. Previously, Paul was involved in key roles at BT as Head of Business Development for BT Consumer, Arqiva as Market Development Director for Digital Platforms, and Channel 5 where leadership responsibilities included Head of Digital Media and Digital Controller for Video & Technology. Paul's earlier experience includes directing new media initiatives for Discovery Communications in Europe, focusing on digital strategy and business development.
