Warren Hallett

Warren Hallett has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Warren started their career as an IT Technician at FFS Refiners, where they designed and implemented IT projects, managed servers and PCs, and provided user support.

Warren then joined BSkyB as a Hardware Test Team Leader, leading a team in the testing phase of a project and creating HD test streams. Warren later became a Technical Product Manager, responsible for overseeing 35 Digibox platforms and managing suppliers. Warren also served as a Project Manager, overseeing software releases and a new monitoring system.

At Huawei, Warren worked as a Terminal Product Manager, managing activities between Huawei and the customer during the development of YouView STB. Warren also created product demonstrations for potential customers and managed reliability improvements for devices.

Warren then joined Digital TV Group (DTG) as a Lead Test Engineer, where they maintained the MHEG automation test system and conducted quality assurance for new iDTVs and STBs.

Currently, Warren is working at YouView TV Limited as an Automation Developer. Warren has been responsible for the testing of new functionality and the management of test infrastructure.

Warren Hallett holds a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Computer Systems) from Durban University of Technology. Additionally, they have obtained a Bachelor of Science Open Degree from The Open University.
