Marco Medero

Marco Medero is an experienced Engineer specializing in reliability and maintenance, currently employed at YPF SA since August 2014. In the role of Ingeniero de confiabilidad y mantenimiento, Marco manages the organization’s asset database, including taxonomy, hierarchy, failure modes, and criticality, while leading statistical analyses and failure modeling to optimize maintenance plans based on Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) principles. Additionally, as an expert in tower equipment integrity, Marco leads Level II inspections per internal procedures. Prior to YPF SA, Marco worked as an Electromechanical Engineer at EDVSA Ingeniería y Construcción from June 2013 to September 2014, engaging in detailed engineering inspections and document control for major projects. Marco holds a specialization in Maintenance Engineering and Management from Universidad Austral and a degree in Electromechanical Engineering from Universidad Tecnológica Nacional.
