Gonzalo Villacorta

Gonzalo Villacorta is a Senior Geologist with extensive experience in exploration and development within the petroleum industry. Currently, Gonzalo has been serving as a Senior Consultant at Consultor Independiente E&P since June 2012, focusing on block evaluations for exploration, field reactivation, and secondary recovery projects, along with reserve auditing and estimation. Previous engagements include roles as an External Consultant at YPFB Chaco S.A., where Gonzalo evaluated exploratory blocks and provided strategic advising for the company's operations from 2010 to 2012. Additional consulting experience includes evaluations for Oil Solutions INC. and support for Pemex through Schlumberger S.A. Gonzalo's academic background includes a Licentiate degree in Geology from Universidad Nacional de Salta and another Licentiate degree in Petroleum Geology from the University of Buenos Aires.
