Youth Passion Project
Ria Sethi is a high school student currently pursuing education at Monta Vista High School, with an expected graduation in June 2026. Ria has gained diverse experience through various internships, including current roles as an intern at Lockstep and Cyber Unbound, where Ria is notably the youngest and first high school intern accepted. Ria serves as a representative on the FUHSD Intradistrict Council and teaches speech classes for the Youth Passion Project. Leadership is further demonstrated as the Selective STEAM Research Program Leader, guiding research projects, and as a captain on the Monta Vista Varsity Water Polo team. Ria is actively involved in cybersecurity initiatives as the founder of Cyber For Youth and has experience in coding and engineering through the BILL internship. Additionally, Ria has attained recognition in speech and debate, participated in a selective speech program at Harvard University, and contributed as a student ambassador for OneProsper International.

The Youth Passion Project (YPP) is devoted to providing a platform for younger learners to explore and find new interests. Our instructors teach unique classes in topics that they are truly passionate about, ranging from Positive Psychology to Technical Theatre to Modern Hebrew. Our distinct courses and community-based mission allow for a learning environment that is both exciting and educational for both students and instructors.
