Airy Tilland

Project manager at Ypso-Facto

Airy Tilland has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. They started their professional career as a technician intern at Laboratoire Réactions et Génie des Procédés in 2009. From 2011 to 2012, Airy Tilland worked in various seasonal jobs at Bricomarché, Leroy Merlin, and McDonald's.

In 2012, Airy Tilland continued their career at Ecole nationale supérieure des Industries Chimiques as a teaching assistant while also completing a Master's intern project at Laboratoire Réactions et Génie des Procédés. During this time, they focused on the simulation and optimization of small-scale reactors.

Airy Tilland then joined Fives Cryo as a research and development engineer intern in 2012. Here, they were responsible for developing a program to validate heat exchanger designs.

In 2012, Airy Tilland started their PhD in process science at Université de Lorraine/Laboratoire Réactions et Génie des Procédés. Their research focused on analyzing the chemical and physical modifications of an oxygen carrier in a chemical looping process. They conducted experiments, developed kinetic models, and proposed an aging mechanism.

After completing their PhD in 2015, Airy Tilland joined IFP Energies nouvelles as a research engineer. In this role, they managed and conducted experiments on various pilot projects, analyzed solid samples, developed process mechanistic models, and optimized kinetic parameters. They also served as a task leader in international projects and created simulation tools to support industrial unit sizing. Airy Tilland worked at IFP Energies nouvelles until September 2020.

In 2019, Airy Tilland had a brief secondment at Axens.

Most recently, in October 2020, Airy Tilland joined Ypso-Facto as a project manager.

Overall, Airy Tilland has a strong background in research and development, process analysis, experimentation, and project management.

Airy Tilland completed their education in the field of Process and Chemical science. Airy began their academic journey in 2007 at IUT Nancy-Brabois, where they obtained a Technology degree. From 2009 to 2012, they attended ENSIC, earning a degree in Chemical industries engineering (I2C). Additionally, in 2011 to 2012, they pursued a Master's degree in Process and Chemical science through the Master MEPP GPPF program. Finally, from 2012 to 2015, Airy Tilland attended Universite de Lorraine, where they obtained a Doctorate degree in Process and Chemical science.
