Jean-Christophe van Dam

Jean-Christophe Van Dam is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data governance, IT privacy, and risk management. Currently serving as a Data Governance Expert at Ypto, responsibilities include optimizing data governance processes and enhancing the detection of new entries in the Corporate Glossary. Previously, Jean-Christophe held various key positions at UCB, including IT Privacy Lead and Data Protection Lead, overseeing GDPR compliance, data loss prevention projects, and user training. Additional roles at UCB involved IT risk management, business analysis for Collibra implementation, and IT customer service management. Earlier career achievements include serving as Managing Director of ATM, focusing on psychometric material distribution, and as a Training & Development Consultant at Skillteam (IBM). Jean-Christophe holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Psychology from Haute Ecole 'Léonard de Vinci'​ and a secondary degree in Social Sciences from Vallée Bailly.
