Tanja Amanda Matikainen

Tanja Amanda Matikainen is an experienced professional with a diverse background in local government and business affairs, currently serving as the Head of Local Government and Business Affairs at Suomen Yrittäjät ry since October 2020. Matikainen founded and was the CEO of Twilla Oy from July 2020 to October 2021. Previous roles include Mayor of the Municipality of Janakkala, where responsibilities encompassed administration and economy, and Municipal Manager of Sulkava, both emphasizing HR, marketing, communications, and public relations. Matikainen has also engaged in academic roles as a researcher at the University of Vaasa and held visiting researcher positions at both the University of Bergen and University of Uppsala.
