Matthew Young

Matthew Young is a Senior Risk Analyst at Yu Energy, having joined the company in September 2022 after previously serving as a Junior Trading Analyst. Prior to this role, Matthew completed a research internship at the University of Oxford, where a computationally efficient algorithm for stochastic differential equations was developed. Additional experience includes working as a Finance Assistant at Pendragon PLC and a German Teacher for the UCL German Society. Earlier roles encompass bartending at Just Beer Micropub and tutoring mathematics at Sir William Robertson Academy. Matthew Young holds an MSci in Mathematics with Modern Languages from UCL, completed in 2022.
