Manufacturing Engineer at Yuasa Battery

Daniel Hughes has worked in a variety of engineering roles since 2003. Daniel began their career at Yuasa Battery as a Design Engineer, where they maintained company AutoCAD files and worked with the Plant Engineering Manager to detail and develop new concepts and ideas for production tooling and machinery. In 2006, they moved to Premier Mills as a Product Engineer, where they designed and laid out custom milling equipment for custom orders and had experience with product redesign/refinement and streamlining/simplifying for production and cost reductions. In 2008, they joined Astro Machine Works, Inc. as an Electro-Mechanical Designer / Machine Designer, where they worked on anything from small part reverse engineer work to complete machine design and build projects. In 2016, they joined ONExia Inc. as a Mechanical Design Engineer. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Yuasa Battery, Inc. - USA as a Manufacturing Engineer.

Daniel Hughes obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electromechanical Technology/Electromechanical Engineering Technology from Pennsylvania State University-Penn State Berks between 1999 and 2003. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Related Technologies/Technicians from the same institution between 1998 and 2000. Additionally, they hold a certification in PLC for Industrial Programming from Pennsylvania State University.
