Brian Brown has over 25 years of experience in the education field, starting as a Teacher/Assistant Principal in 1996 at YCUSD. Brian progressed to roles such as Elementary Principal and eventually became the Dean of Athletics and Special Programs at Yuba City Unified School District. In 2019, they transitioned to the Director of Student Affairs before currently serving as an Elementary School Principal.
Brian Brown earned a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the University of Oregon (1989-1994) and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Chapman University (2006-2007). Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Yuba City High School from 1985 to 1989.
