Alexis Kafoury

Alexis Kafoury has a diverse work experience history. Alexis currently works at Yubico as the Manager of Deal Desk Operations and Strategy since January 2022. Prior to this role, they served as a Deal Desk Analyst in Supply Chain Operations from October 2020 to January 2022. Before that, they were an Order Enablement Specialist in Supply Chain from February 2020 to October 2020. Alexis also has experience in Order Processing and Production in Supply Chain at Yubico from August 2019 to February 2020.

In addition to their role at Yubico, Alexis worked as an Instructor at SUIGETSUKAN, focusing on sliding scale programs for youth martial arts and community self-defense courses. Alexis was responsible for grant writing, program development, and implementation of youth public education projects.

Prior to that, Alexis worked as an Assistant Manager at AHT from March 2015 to September 2018. Alexis also worked as a Biology Tutor and Laboratory Assistant at Laney College, where they provided assistance in biology-related studies.

Alexis also gained experience as a Nursery Assistant at Oaktown Native Plant Nursery from March 2011 to September 2016. In this role, they were responsible for the propagation and maintenance of rare and native plants. Alexis also participated in land restoration and conservation projects in the Bay Area, including the Lake Merritt estuary restoration project for the City of Oakland.

Alexis Kafoury holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History and Philosophy of Science and Technology from the University of California, Davis. Additionally, they pursued studies in French Language and Literature and Comparative Political Philosophy at the American Institute for Foreign Study. Currently, Alexis is enrolled at San Francisco State University, pursuing a Master of Philosophy degree, with an expected completion date in 2023.
