Nick Charpentier

Nick Charpentier, CISSP, has had a diverse range of work experience in the field of cyber security. Nick is currently serving as the Vice President of Global Solutions Engineering at Yubico since June 2022. Prior to this role, they held various positions at Yubico, including Director of Solutions Engineering - America's Strategic and Senior Manager of Solutions Engineering.

Before joining Yubico, Charpentier worked at Great Bay Software as a Solutions Engineer, where they focused on pre-sales network security consulting and professional services. Nick also worked as a Network Security Engineer, providing support for clients and handling various tasks such as network endpoint discovery, profiling, and troubleshooting.

At Intel Security, Charpentier served as a Technical Support Engineer and Product Specialist, offering support and advice to large corporations on network security. Nick worked with various McAfee products and analyzed data to resolve network security issues.

In their early career, Charpentier worked at U.S. Bank as a Help Desk Specialist. Nick provided remote assistance for Windows Administration, Active Directory, software troubleshooting, network printers, and more. Nick also opened incidents to dispatch on-site technicians for repair work.

Charpentier's work experience began as a PC Repair Technician at The Electronic Connection, LLC - RadioShack Franchise. Nick dealt with computer repairs, virus removal, hardware and software support, and custom builds. Nick also provided network support and installation services.

With a comprehensive background in cyber security and a range of technical skills, Charpentier brings valuable expertise to their current role at Yubico.

Nick Charpentier, CISSP, obtained an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Network Administrator/Analyst from Hennepin Technical College, where they studied from 2011 to 2014. In addition to their degree, Nick also holds the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)², which they obtained in February 2022.
