Shakeel Aziz

Shakeel Aziz has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Shakeel is currently working as a Senior Solutions Engineer at Yubico since January 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Solutions Engineer at Yubico since August 2021.

Before joining Yubico, Shakeel worked at Cognizant Microsoft Business Group as a Senior Consultant - Intelligent Workplace from April 2020 to August 2021.

Shakeel gained extensive experience in their role as a Senior Consultant - Modern Workplace at New Signature from February 2017 to April 2020. During this time, they were responsible for managing strategic infrastructure and digital transformation projects, providing key consulting services to clients and leading internal teams.

Shakeel also worked at CMS Consulting Inc. as a Solutions Architect from January 2011 to February 2017. Additionally, they held the position of Senior Consultant at CMS Consulting Inc. from July 2008 to January 2011.

Prior to their role at CMS Consulting Inc., Shakeel worked as a Senior Consultant at LegendCorp from March 2006 to June 2008.

Shakeel started their career at IBM Canada Ltd. as a Lead Product Support Specialist from 1999 to 2001. Shakeel then moved on to work at Unisource as a Senior Technical Analyst from 2001 to 2004.

Before joining Yubico, Shakeel also worked at Volt Technical Resources as a Premier Support Engineer - Microsoft Exchange from 2004 to 2006.

Throughout their work experience, Shakeel has demonstrated expertise in managing infrastructure and digital transformation projects, providing consulting services, and serving as a subject matter expert for IT infrastructure and systems. Shakeel has also been involved in migration projects and has experience in areas such as security, compliance, and governance.

Shakeel Aziz obtained a Diploma in Management Information Systems, General from the Canadian Information Technology College, where they studied from 1998 to 2000. In addition to their formal education, they have also earned several certifications from Microsoft. In December 2020, they achieved the MS-101 Microsoft 365 Mobility and Security certification, followed by the MS-100 Microsoft 365 Identity and Services certification in February 2020. Shakeel also holds the Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert certification, which they obtained in January 2021. Furthermore, they achieved the Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate certification in January 2021 as well.
