Ewing Taylor has a diverse work experience spanning from 2011 to 2021. In 2011, they began working as a Freelance Teacher, Copywriter, and Translator, writing web copy, product copy, and scripts for spec commercials, translating books, academic articles, and commercial scripts, and teaching advanced grammar and public speaking classes at pharmaceutical companies, production studios, and hospitals. In 2014, they worked as a Copywriter and Customer Service Coach at Amer Sports Corporation, editing copy for newsletters and emails for the American and Canadian markets, explaining technical product information to elite skiers and runners over the phone, and producing best practice scripts for common customer service scenarios. They also founded Snack*, designing an English language practice app, writing and curating articles, exercises, and lessons, and producing English grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation videos. In 2016, they worked at Treatwell as a UX Writer and Marketplace Specialist, rewriting and SEO-optimising service and venue descriptions, collaborating with localization teams in London, and brainstorming A/B testing opportunities with the A/B testing team in London. In 2018, they worked at Dashlane as a UX Writer, managing UX writing for new features, experiments, and surveys, creating Dashlane's first UX style guide, and standardizing a localization system for developers and copywriters. In 2019, they worked at Dailymotion as a UX Writer, leading the UX writing process for four products, writing a glossary of terms and making it accessible via a Slack command, collaborating with the UX research team to advocate for improved copy testing methods, and establishing tone of voice and UX writing guidelines. Finally, in 2021, they worked at Yubo as a Senior Content Designer, being responsible for the content design of all new features, managing localization and translation of product and marketing content, and recruiting and managing a team of freelance creatives including lens developpers, NFT designers, and graphic designers who created collections of collectible trading cards.

Ewing Taylor obtained a Bachelor's degree in Theatre/Theater from Auburn University between 2006 and 2010. Additionally, they hold a Trinity Certificate in TESOL from Trinity College London.
