Chris Fortier

Chris Fortier is the VP of Product at Yuga Labs. Chris was previously with Rally, where they were the VP of Product. Chris was responsible for scaling Rally core product to onboard more than 300 distinct communities by creating new economies using fungible social tokens (creator coins) and non-fungible tokens (utility focused NFTs).

As the leader of Product, they created product roadmap and executed weekly releases of new features including core NFT marketplaces, token minting, fiat economic functions, consumer facing bot integrations and mobile apps by overseeing a team of 60 cross functional FTEs across design, research, product, data and engineering.

Chris also crafted Rally Rewards, a unique tokenomics incentive system for $RLY that balanced community growth, inflation, creator incomes and user experience. The system distributed more than 2M $RLY to Rally.io participants each week. Chris conceived of and launched Rally.io across alternative L1 chains, initially with Solana, through the development of a front-ed and an SDK enabling token minting, liquidity through token bonding curves, token vesting schedules, transfers and a suite of controls for token states and metadata.

Chris Fortier has a MBA in Finance from The Wharton School and a BS in Commerce, Philosophy from the University of Virginia. Chris is also a Chartered Financial Analyst Charterholder from the CFA Institute.

Chris Fortier reports to Nicole Muniz, CEO. They work with Cameron Kates - Chief Legal Officer, Jasmin Shoemaker - COO, and Chris Haire - VP of Engineering.
