Creative Director, Bored Ape Yacht Club at Yuga Labs

Jeff Nicholas has extensive work experience in the creative industry. Their most recent position was as the Creative Director for Club (BAYC) at Yuga Labs starting in 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Authentic Artists from 2019 to 2023, where they served as a Creative Advisor and then as the Executive Creative Director. At Authentic Artists, they led a team of multidisciplinary creatives and was involved in all aspects of creative initiatives and strategies, including branding, interactive music experiences, and marketing partnerships.

Before their time at Authentic Artists, Jeff held various roles at Live Nation Entertainment from 2016 to 2021. Jeff started as a VP and Creative Director, where they conceptualized and pitched campaigns, leading to multimillion dollar sales and partnerships. Jeff later became the VP of Creative Innovation, responsible for the execution of innovative VR and AR experiences for clients such as Samsung, Hyundai, and Verizon. Additionally, at Live Nation Entertainment, they served as the Director of Extended Reality (XR) Creative + Production and as a Consultant for VR Creative + Strategy.

From 2016 to 2017, Jeff worked as a Freelance Creative Director and Director at CREATE+DESTROY (Production Co). In 2016, they also briefly served as the EVP of Strategy, Creative, + Growth at vantage.tv.

Jeff's career began at The Uprising Creative in 2007, where they held multiple leadership positions, including CEO, Executive Creative Director, and Director. During their nine years with the company, they facilitated its growth, expanded its service offering, and worked with high-profile clients such as Apple Music, Justin Timberlake, and Rihanna.

Prior to The Uprising Creative, Jeff worked at Silva Artist Management from 2005 to 2007 as the Director of Creative, Merchandise, Tour Marketing + Special Creative Projects. Jeff played a significant role in driving the success of the company's clients, including AFI, Beck, Foo Fighters, and Nirvana. Jeff also developed a limited-run capsule brand called Hooves Footwear.

Before their roles at Silva Artist Management, Jeff worked at Bill Silva Management from 2002 to 2004 as an Artist Manager, Tour Manager, and Merchandise Director. Jeff contributed to the growth of artists such as Jason Mraz and Gary Jules.

Jeff started their career at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas in 2000, where they served as the Lead Designer for the Events Committee and as a Computer Technician.

Throughout their career, Jeff has demonstrated a strong creative vision and a track record of leading successful initiatives and campaigns in the music and entertainment industry.

Jeff Nicholas attended the University of Nevada-Las Vegas from 1999 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design.
