Katarzyna Marszałek-Kowalewska

Katarzyna Marszałek-Kowalewska has extensive work experience in the field of knowledge engineering, computational linguistics, and research. Katarzyna held the position of Manager Knowledge Engineering at YUKKA Lab AG from June 2017 onwards. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Knowledge Engineer at Robin8 from February 2016 to 2017. Katarzyna also served as a Computational Linguist and Developer at Appen from September 2015 to February 2016. Before that, they were a Research Associate and Linguistic Expert at Xaxis (former Crystal Semantics) from May 2014 to February 2016. Katarzyna's experience also includes working as a Research Associate at Lionbridge from December 2013 to January 2016.

In addition to their industry experience, Katarzyna has a background in academia. Katarzyna worked as a Lecturer at the Institute of Linguistics at Adam Mickiewicz University from 2009 to 2014. Katarzyna also served as a Lecturer at the Centre of Languages and Communication at Poznan University of Technology from 2010 to 2013.

Katarzyna Marszałek-Kowalewska obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Philology from the Higher School of Modern Languages in Poznań, Poland. Katarzyna then pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Linguistics, specializing in Ethnolinguistics, at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. Additionally, they undertook a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in English Language and Literature from the same university. At present, Katarzyna is working towards a Ph.D. in Corpus Linguistics at Adam Mickiewicz University.
