Jerry Ding

Jerry D. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. JERRY started their career at Yale University as a Research Assistant Fellow while pursuing a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science. In 2013, they joined Maifengyi as an Engagement Manager, where they helped determine the strategic direction and governance model for a municipal real estate SOE and improved operational efficiency for a major Petroleum & Chemical company in China.

Jerry then joined Yum China in 2019, where they held multiple positions. JERRY started as a Senior Strategy Director and later became the Vice President of Corporate Strategy. JERRY went on to serve as the Brand General Manager for Taco Bell China and is currently the Chief People Officer.

Overall, Jerry has a strong background in strategy and operations management, with expertise in corporate strategy, performance management, and transformation initiatives.

Jerry D. received their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tsinghua University, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. JERRY then pursued their Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science at Yale University from 2008 to 2013.
