Maggie Poffenbarger

Maggie Poffenbarger is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in various legal roles, primarily at the Yurok Tribe since August 2016, where positions include Deputy General Counsel, Acting Deputy General Counsel, and Associate General Counsel, as well as serving as a Legal Access Center Attorney in the Tribal Court. Prior experience includes a Summer Law Clerk position at Youth Rights & Justice and a Law Clerk role at the Lewis & Clark Legal Clinic, where responsibilities encompassed landlord/tenant, family law, tax, and bankruptcy issues. Maggie Poffenbarger holds a Doctor of Law degree from Lewis & Clark College and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley.
