Birjis Ahmedi

Birjis Ahmedi has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Starting in 2012, Ahmedi worked as a Report Analyst at Follett Higher Education Group. Later that year, they transitioned to a role as a Financial Analyst at Exelon Nuclear. In 2012, Ahmedi also worked as a Grant & Business Intelligence Analyst at Dairy Management Inc.

In 2014, Ahmedi joined Ecolab as an IT Data Analysts and was responsible for configuring and customizing data collection forms and reports. They also worked on improving data quality and analyzing data using statistical tools.

From 2015 to 2016, Ahmedi worked as an IT Applications Systems Analyst at Daniels Health, where they conducted in-depth analysis of proprietary logistic software and provided technical support for ERP systems.

In 2016, Ahmedi became a Business System Analyst at Blue Cross and Blue Shield, where they played a key role in multiple system projects. They developed scope documents and business requirements, worked with business users to gather detailed requirements, and authored and executed user acceptance test plans.

From 2016 to 2020, Ahmedi worked as a Data Integration Analyst at Family Health Network, where they focused on integrating data and developing efficient workflows for business units.

In 2020, Ahmedi joined Cook County Sheriff’s Office as a Data Integration Analyst, and in 2021 they moved on to become a Senior Product Analyst at Episource LLC. Currently, Ahmedi works as a Scrum Master at Yuvo starting in 2023.

Throughout their career, Ahmedi has gained experience in data analysis, business intelligence, project management, and software implementation.

Birjis Ahmedi obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a major in Accounting and Finance from DePaul University in the period between 2005 and 2014. Furthermore, Birjis Ahmedi also earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from DePaul University. Additionally, Birjis Ahmedi has obtained certifications as a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance, with the certifications obtained in November 2022.
