Nathan Russell

Nathan Russell has a diverse work experience primarily in the outdoor industry and non-profit sector. Nathan worked at YWAM Montana | Lakeside for several roles including Business & Finance Director, Outdoor Ministries Program Coordinator, Endurance Discipleship Training School School Leader & Founder, Campus Administrator, and Discipleship Training School Staff. Nathan also served as a Lead Instructor at Aerie Backcountry Medicine. In addition, they worked at YMCA of the Rockies - Snow Mountain Ranch as a Human Resources Director and Employee Development Coordinator. Nathan'sother experiences include Outdoor Gear Sales at Bill & Paul's Sporthaus, an Appalachian Trail Thru-Hike, and an Outdoor Education Instructor/Nordic Center Tech/Instructor at YMCA of the Rockies - Snow Mountain Ranch. Nathan also held a position as a Community Service Worker Supervisor at the City of East Grand Rapids.

Nathan Russell holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from Calvin University, which they obtained from 1999 to 2003. Nathan further pursued their education at the same university and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Non-Profit Management from 2021 to 2022. In addition to their formal education, Nathan has obtained various certifications, including Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) from Aerie Backcountry Medicine and Avi I and Avi Rescue - Recreational from the American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education (AIARE).
