Christie Grassmyer

Christie Grassmyer has a diverse work experience in various roles related to human resources and management. Christie started their career as an Assistant General Manager at Hampton Inn Spokane Airport in 2005, eventually becoming a General Manager for the hotel from 2007 to 2015. In this role, they oversaw all operational tasks and managed a team of over 50 employees. Christie also handled HR duties such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and training and development.

Afterwards, Christie joined etailz, Inc. as an Organizational Development Specialist in 2015. Their responsibilities included serving as a HR liaison for over 190 employees across multiple locations, coaching and mentoring leaders, and launching a leadership onboarding certification program. Christie also championed employee needs and advocated for the company's interests.

In 2016, Christie became a Human Resources Advisor at Associated Industries Inland NW. Here, they designed and facilitated training programs, provided expert advice on HR challenges, and evaluated each organization's unique circumstances to identify opportunities for positive progression.

Finally, in 2018, Christie took on the role of Director of Human Resources at YWCA of Spokane, where they currently work. Christie Grassmyer attended Washington State University from 2000 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources and Business Management, with a minor in Sociology.
