John Romaine

John Romaine has a diverse work experience in the construction industry. John started their career as an Airfield Engineer in the USAF, working from 1984 to 1995. Following that, they worked as a Project Manager at Denton Concrete Roads from 1995 to 1999. John then joined Jones Brothers as the Concrete, Bridge, and Grading Division Manager from 1999 to 2001. After that, they worked at Angelo Iafrate as an Area Operations Manager in 2001. From 2002 to 2014, they served as the Concrete Division Manager at The Scruggs Company. In 2014, they joined Hi-Way Paving Inc. as the Southern Region Manager and held the position until 2018. In the same year, they became the Chief Operating Officer at Gunter Construction Company for a brief period. Currently, they are working as the Director of Paving Operations at Zachry Construction Corporation since June 2021 after previously serving as the Area Operations Manager/Concrete Paving Manager from 2018 to June 2021.

John Romaine received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Engineering Technology from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. John attended the university from 1991 to 1993.
