James Tinkess, MBA CCSP, currently serves as an Information Security Specialist and Lead Digital Security Policy & Forensic Operations Specialist at Zafin since August 2023. Previously, Tinkess held the position of Senior Security Architect at Bell from April 2019 to August 2023, and prior to that was the Director of Cloud Security & Operations at Zafin from May 2015 to April 2019. Earlier roles include positions at Unlimitech Software as a Java Developer and numerous academic appointments at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology, where Tinkess was a professor focusing on Operating Systems, Networking, and Game Development. Tinkess's extensive experience includes significant leadership roles at Bell, Internet Commerce Incorporated, Sun Microsystems, and Gandalf Systems Group, contributing to product development and advanced technology initiatives. Tinkess holds an MBA from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University.
