Hua Gong

Hua Gong has extensive work experience in the field of translational medicine and clinical biomarkers. Hua is currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Global Head of Translational Medicine and Clinical Biomarker at Zai Lab since February 2022. Prior to this, they held various positions at different companies, including President and Board Member at SABPA, Chief Operating Officer and Head of Precision Medicine at Adagene, and senior director and head of biomarker and diagnostic development at Navigate Biopharma and Novartis Oncology. Hua also served as the Executive Director of Companion Diagnostics Solutions at Premier Research and held roles at Prometheus Therapeutics and Diagnostics and Pfizer.

Hua Gong has pursued a Master's degree in Biostatistics at Sun Yat-sen University. Additionally, Hua Gong is currently a candidate for a PhD in Preventive Medicine at The Ohio State University. Hua Gong has also completed a PhD in Cancer Biology at Wayne State University. Furthermore, Hua Gong has obtained a certification as MB(ASCP).
