Shaun MacCoun

Shaun Maccoun is an experienced communications professional currently serving as Head of Global Communications at Zai Lab since January 2022. Prior to this role, Shaun held several senior positions at Edelman, including Executive Vice President for Health and Global Client Lead for AbbVie, and contributed to employee engagement and communications across various sectors. Additional experience includes roles at First Republic Bank, Pacific Gas and Electric Company, Southern California Edison, and Chevron, where Shaun specialized in corporate communications and employee experience. Shaun holds a Master's degree in Strategic Public Relations from the University of Southern California, a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of California, Davis.
