Abdulla al-Khalifa

Abdulla Al-Khalifa is an experienced executive in communications, investor relations, and technology management, currently serving as the Chief Communications & Investor Relations Officer at Zain Bahrain since January 2017. Prior to this role, Al-Khalifa held the position of Executive Director - Technology & Innovation at University College Bahrain from January 2013 to December 2016, where responsibilities included overseeing the development and integration of technology across academic and administrative platforms. Earlier career highlights include serving as Vice President of Regulatory & Public Affairs at Lightspeed Communications and as Chief Executive Officer during the company's startup phase. Al-Khalifa began the professional journey as a Regulatory & Compliance Specialist at Batelco and has a solid educational background with an EMBA from IMD and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from Bentley University.
