Dr. Qasim al-Tal

Dr. Qasim Al-Tal has extensive experience in the telecommunications sector, currently serving as the Policies & Competition General Manager at Zain KSA since March 2008, where roles have included Head of Regulatory and Competition. Previous positions include serving as a Commissioner and Board Member at the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC-Jordan) from 2021 to 2022, and Dr. Qasim held various roles at TRC-Jordan from 2002 to 2008, including Senior Regulatory Affairs Officer and Competition Officer. Dr. Al-Tal holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Jordan, along with a Master’s degree in Economics from the same institution and a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Jami'at Al-Yarmouk.
