Mehdi Chaabouni

Mehdi CHAABOUNI has a diverse work experience in various companies. Mehdi started their career at BIAT, International Arab Bank of Tunisia, as a Financial junior analyst where they monitored the accountancy of Special Purpose Vehicles and developed reports on accounting procedures. Mehdi then joined Orascom Telecom as an Expert Revenue Accountant and later as a Fixed Asset Expert Accountant, where they were responsible for financial statements, asset input and correction, and participated in special projects. Mehdi then moved to Orange Tunisie as a Fixed Assets Accounting Manager, where they reconciled fixed asset sub ledger to the GL, prepared financial statements, and provided financial analysis to management. Mehdi then joined Zain as a Financial Controller, overseeing the financial aspects of the company. At Zain Kuwait and Zain, they held roles in budgeting, business planning, and decision support, before becoming the Strategy & Corporate Performance General Manager. Currently, Mehdi is the B2B Planning & Performance General Manager at Zain KSA.

Mehdi CHAABOUNI completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the Institut Supérieur de Comptabilité et d'Administration des Entreprises (ISCAE) from 2002 to 2006. They then pursued a Master's degree in Valuation and Risks Management from the University of Tunis El Manar from 2007 to 2008.
