Higher education, master's degree in chemical engineer. A graduate of the Ceramic Technical School in Gliwice and the Faculty of Materials Science and Ceramics at the AGH University of Science and Technology Stanisław Staszic in Krakow, as well as postgraduate studies in the field of thermal technology. From 1979, he was associated with Zakłady Magnezytowe "ROPCZYCE" SA. He worked as a technologist, production master, manager of the production department, production and trade director, general director. In the years 1992-2000 he was a member of the management board of the Company, and since 2000 he has been the President of the Management Board.
