Hannele Piirainen

Hannele Piirainen is an accomplished design professional with extensive experience in user experience and product design. Currently serving as Principal Product Designer at Zalando SE since December 2018, Hannele has previously held roles such as Lead Product Designer and Product Designer. Prior positions include Lead UX Designer at Bitfactor Oy, Senior UX Designer at Ixonos, and Senior UX Designer & Partner at Cresense. Hannele began the career at Nokia Oyj, progressing from Pro Gradu Worker to User Experience Specialist. Hannele holds a Master of Economics in Computer Science and Information Systems from the University of Jyväskylä, along with various specialized training in user-centered design and multimedia.
