Sebastian Munoz

Sebastian Munoz, Ph.D., is the Head of People Analytics & Research at Zalando, having held various roles in the organization since July 2018, including Senior Team Lead and Lead People Analytics & Research. Prior to joining Zalando, Sebastian served as a Research Fellow at the Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research from January 2016 to June 2018, focusing on bioinformatics and phylogeographic reconstruction of pandemics. Additionally, Sebastian was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Leibniz Institute for Freshwater Ecology and Inland Fisheries in 2015. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and a Master of Arts from Princeton University, as well as a Professional title and Licentiate degree in Marine Biology and Biology, respectively, from Universidad Católica de la Santísima Concepción.
