Nicolas León

Nicolás León has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Nicolás started their career at Banco de la República - Colombia as an Analyst and Practitioner in the Financial Stability Department. Nicolás then moved on to Fedesarrollo, where they worked as a Researcher. In 2009, they joined the Frankel Fund at the University of Michigan as a Team Leader in the Consumer Technology group. After that, they had a summer internship at Amazon.com. In 2011, they worked as an Advisor to the Presidency at DISAN. In 2012, they became the Co-President and Director of New Investments at Grupo Disan. In 2014, they co-founded and became the CEO of Zalvadora. Most recently, in 2018, they became the President of the Board at Agricola Guapa.

Nicolás León obtained their International Baccalaureate (IB) from Colegio Anglo Colombiano in 1997. Nicolás then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Economics at Universidad de Los Andes from 1999 to 2003. Afterwards, Nicolás completed a Master's degree in Economics at the same institution from 2004 to 2008. Later on, they pursued an MBA at the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business from 2009 to 2011.
