Antoniu Pop has a comprehensive work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Antoniu currently holds the position of Fellow - Compiler/Runtime Optimization at Zama starting from September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at the University of Manchester, where they served as an Honorary Senior Lecturer from August 2020 onwards. Before that, they held positions as a Senior Lecturer and Lecturer from July 2018 to July 2020 and from October 2013 to July 2018, respectively.
Antoniu Pop also worked as a GCC developer at the Free Software Foundation Europe from December 2007 until September 2021. Additionally, they served as a Research Fellow at the Royal Academy of Engineering from July 2014 to January 2020. Antoniu later pursued their PhD in Computer Science from Texas A&M University, graduating in 2008. Antoniu Pop then went on to continue their studies in the same field and earned their second PhD from Mines Paris from 2008 to 2011.
