Beatrice Banda

Beatrice Banda is an experienced professional currently serving as the Acting Customs Collector at the Zambia Revenue Authority since April 2019, where responsibilities include managing customs ports, overseeing staff, drafting tax documents, and advising on tariff classification. Previously, Beatrice worked as an Examining Officer-Customs, ensuring accurate tax collection and facilitating legitimate trade. Beatrice's earlier experience includes working as a Business Development Executive at Standard Chartered Bank, focusing on client acquisition and relationship management. Beatrice holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Zambia's Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Development Studies and Sociology from the University of Zambia.
