Janani Iyer

Janani Iyer has had a diverse work experience, beginning in 2009 when they joined UC Davis Student Housing and Dining Services as a Community Assistant. Janani then progressed to become a Resident Advisor and Lead Resident Advisor, Asian American Pacific Themed House (APATH). In 2012, Janani joined DeVry University as an Assistant Manager of Residence Life, where they interviewed, hired, and trained Front Desk student staff workers, and conducted weekly staff meetings. Janani maintained the residence hall database, worked with Campus Directors and Corporate-level Admissions Directors, and created a contractual document to enforce a roommate agreement policy. Janani was also a primary contact for all Residence Hall issues, a member of the On-Campus Emergency Medical Response Team, and a First Responder of the Incident Command Team. In 2013, they joined Sankara Eye Foundation, USA as an Office Assistant - Part-Time/Pro-Bono. From 2019 to 2021, Janani was a Human Resources Administrator and Administrative Coordinator at TyRex Group, Ltd. Janani is currently a Customer Success Coordinator at Zan Compute.

Janani Iyer graduated from the University of California, Davis in 2011 with a Bachelor's degree in International Relations. Janani also completed a minor in French.
