James Goh

Head of Projects at Zand

James Goh has a diverse work experience in the finance and banking industry. James started their career at Standard Chartered Bank as a Manager, where they completed a full system migration and was responsible for daily accounting activities and financial reporting. James then joined ANZ as a Senior Analyst, where they reviewed regulatory reporting procedures and policies and prepared statutory accounts and reports. Following this, James worked at Westpac Banking Corporation as a Senior Manager, overseeing a system transformation project and coordinating with various teams to automate regulatory reporting. James then joined First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) as a Financial Controller, handling regulatory reports and managing a team for Accounts Payable and Nostro reconciliation. At FAB, they also served as Vice President, Projects and Transformation, where they developed project plans and assisted senior management with strategic decisions. Most recently, James worked at WeChain Fintech Pte Ltd as a Senior Manager Finance Operations, overseeing a team across the Asia Pacific region and ensuring financial accounting and reporting met auditing standards. James will be joining Zand as Head of Projects in 2023.

James Goh has a diverse education history in various fields. James obtained a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Singapore Polytechnic from 1997 to 2000. Later, from 2005 to 2010, they pursued the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification, specializing in Accounting. In 2018, James completed the ISCA Professional Risk Management program, earning a Certificate of Competency.

More recently, James pursued a Modular Master's program in Foundation of Data Science at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). Although the specific start year is not mentioned, it can be inferred that they completed this program by the end of 2020.

In addition to their academic achievements, James Goh has also obtained the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from the Scrum Alliance in October 2021.
