Joben Pedersen

Joben Pedersen is an experienced engineering professional with a focus on fusion testing and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as a Fusion Test Engineer at Helion since June 2021, Joben previously held positions at Microsoft, working as a Mechanical Engineer II in Cloud Hardware Infrastructure and Engineering and Cryosystems. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Engineer at the Center for Experimental Nuclear Physics and Astrophysics at the University of Washington, where Joben supervised operations of a particle accelerator, and earlier positions as an Engineering Technician and Lab Assistant. Joben holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of Washington, completed in 2013.
