William Stafford

William Stafford has extensive work experience in the engineering field, primarily focused on the oil and gas industry. William began their career at MW Kellogg (currently KBR) in 1995, working as a Process Systems Engineer. Their role involved working on the Shell PTT-1 Chemical Plant project for Shell Chemical Co. in Geismar, LA. In 1997, they started working at AECOM (formerly URS, Washington Group International, Inc., and Raytheon Engineers and Constructors) as a Mechanical Engineer. Throughout their time there, they worked on various Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) projects in the oil and gas industry. William also served as a mechanical engineering supervisor/lead for their last seven years with the company, managing a team to meet project goals. In 2019, they joined Redi Anvil as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, focusing on detail engineering and procurement of mechanical equipment for Mid and Up-Stream Oil and Gas gathering and treating projects. Unfortunately, they were released from their position in July 2020 due to the downturn in the oil and gas industry caused by the COVID-19 virus. Currently, they work at ZAP Engineering & Construction Services, Inc. as a Mechanical Engineer, starting in April 2022.

William Stafford obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston in 1996. Additionally, they obtained a Professional Engineer certification from the State of Colorado in October 2001.
