Area Sales Manager, Eas at Zap Surgical Systems

Danielle Tomkiel-Minton has over 19 years of experience in the medical device industry. Danielle began their career in 2002 as a Staff Research Associate III at UC Berkeley. In 2004, they were hired as a Western Regional Sales Manager at Caliper Life Sciences (now Perkin Elmer), where they were responsible for a $3M capital equipment sales quota. Danielle was promoted to Sr. Account Manager after one year for exceptional performance in increasing revenue. In 2008, they joined Covidien (Medtronic Minimally Invasive Therapies Group) as a Clinical Specialist, where they worked to drive conversions of Covidien Soft Tissue Implants through the use of Evidence Based Medicine. In 2012, they became a Gyn Specialist at Intuitive Surgical. Most recently, in 2021, they joined ZAP Surgical Systems, Inc. as an Area Sales Manager, Eas, where they are responsible for capital sales of a new to market medical device in Eastern and Midwest US territory.

Danielle Tomkiel-Minton received their Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from UC Santa Barbara in 1997. Danielle continued their education at San Francisco State University, where they earned their Master of Science in Biomedical Science in 2002.
