Head of Security at Zapier

Attila Torok is the current Head of Security at Zapier. Prior to that, they were the Director of Security Assurance at LogMeIn from January 2014 to November 2019. In that role, they oversaw the Application Security, Infrastructure Security, and Corporate IT Security teams. Attila was also responsible for creating the world-class Security Champion Program.

Before their time at LogMeIn, Attila was a Systems Engineer at MP Informatics LTd. from January 2012 to January 2014. There they did embedded systems development using embedded Linux, Android, and Windows CE. Attila also did penetration testing using ethical hacking skills and network administration and security testing.

From May 2002 to January 2014, Attila was the Information Security Officer at Multipolaris Corp. And from January 2000 to December 2002, they were a Developer and System Administrator at Nap-Szám Ltd.

Attila Torok holds a Bachelor of Science in Software Information Technology from the Eötvös Loránd University. Attila also has a postgraduate degree and vocational training in computer programming from Euro-Oktaeder, Hungary. Attila is also a graduate of information technology from GSZI, Hungary. Their LinkedIn profile lists him as having a certification in managing virtual teams. Attila is also certified by the EC-Council as a Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO) and a Certified Ethical Hacker V8. Attila is also certified by Microsoft as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator: Messaging.
