Evan Danals

Evan Danals is a Senior Tax Accountant at Zapier. Evan has been with the company since April 2017 and has been responsible for the full spectrum of the accounting function, including preparing state and federal tax returns, managing audits, compliance, business registrations, and licenses. Evan has also managed payroll through a third-party PEO and built an automated process for international contractor invoicing. In addition, they have reviewed GLs and managed the month-end close process, maintaining a 3-day close. Evan has also prepared private company monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

Prior to joining Zapier, Evan was a Tax Staff Accountant at Bennett Thrasher from July 2014 to January 2016. Evan was also a Tax Intern at Bennett Thrasher from January 2013 to April 2013.

Evan Danals has a Masters in Accounting - Tax from North Carolina State University, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration - Finance from North Carolina State University, and a High School diploma from the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics. Evan is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Evan Danals reports to Rajiv Krishnarao, CFO. They work with Kristin McClarty - Accountant, Brandi Shuttera - Accountant, and Alexandra Fay - Compliance Program Manager.
