Marcos Valdez

Marcos Valdez currently serves as the Diversity, Inclusion, Belonging, Equity (DIBE) Program Manager at Zapier since July 2022. Previously, Valdez was a Diversity & Belonging Partner at Pluralsight from January 2021 to July 2022, where responsibilities included enhancing representation and fostering a sense of belonging within the workforce. Valdez has extensive experience in diversity and inclusion, having served as the Director of Diversity and Inclusion at the United States Tennis Association, where data-driven strategies were implemented to integrate diversity into operations. Earlier roles included positions at Americans for the Arts, La Clinica del Pueblo, Skillpoint Alliance, and Northwestern University, all contributing to a robust background in program management, fundraising, and community health initiatives. Valdez holds a BA in Communication Studies and Spanish from Northwestern University.
