Tess Mattisson

Tess Mattisson is the CEO at Zaplox AB (publ). Prior to their current role, Tess was the Head of Ecommerce & Digital Customer Development at Scandic Hotels from August 2021 to March 2022. In this role, Tess was responsible for developing and implementing a multi-year digital vision and strategy that drove the digital transformation of the customer journey and played an integral part in contributing to the overall commercial strategy. Tess also drove execution of e-commerce strategy and developed products with the customer at heart, leveraging digital technologies to give them a personal, interactive, and seamless experience.

Before their role at Scandic Hotels, Tess served as the Senior Director, Sales & Marketing EMEA at Choice Hotels International from January 2016 to June 2021. In this role, Tess was responsible for leading the sales and marketing efforts for Choice Hotels in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region. Tess also helped initiate innovation and experimentation to keep Choice Hotels ahead of the competition and market.

Prior to their role at Choice Hotels International, Tess served as the Head of Ecommerce at Nordic Choice Hotels from December 2012 to January 2016. In this role, Tess was responsible for leading the ecommerce efforts for Nordic Choice Hotels. Tess helped initiate innovation and experimentation to keep Nordic Choice Hotels ahead of the competition and market.

Tess Mattisson has a background in public relations and communications from Berghs School of Communication, and also has a marketing degree from the same school. In 2020, they were certified as one of the 10 Best Women Leaders by Industry-Era, and also has Google AdWords and Google Analytics certifications.
