Austin Mettler

Austin Mettler has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. Austin began their career as a Sales Assistant at Felix Costa and Sons in April 2013 and worked there until June 2017. Following that, they joined the City of Lodi Parks and Recreation as a Recreation Specialist from October 2013 to September 2017.

In 2018, Austin joined Portland State University, where they held two roles simultaneously. Austin worked as a Student Building Supervisor from July 2018 to September 2019 and also served as a Member Services Specialist during the same period.

In 2019, Austin transitioned to St. Mary's Home for Boys and took on the role of Weekend Manager from December 2019 until October 2022.

Afterward, Austin joined the Oregon Department of Human Services as a Child Protective Services Caseworker in December 2021 and continued in that position until December 2022.

In 2022, Austin joined Zapproved as a Sales Development Representative in December, and in 2023, they moved to Exterro, where they currently work as a Business Development Representative.

Austin Mettler completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Portland State University from 2017 to 2019. Before attending Portland State University, they attended San Joaquin Delta College from 2013 to 2017. Further, Austin has obtained several additional certifications, including Blood Borne Pathogen Training from Red Cross Blood Services, Crisis Prevention Intervention Training from Crisis Prevention Institute, Intensive Collaborative Problem Solving Training from Think:Kids at Massachusetts General Hospital, Mental Health First Aid from Red Cross Blood Services, and Standard First Aid, CPR, and AED from Red Cross Blood Services.
