Betsy Sentamu

Betsy Sentamu has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In their current role as a Product Education Specialist at Zartico, they utilize their skills in big data, science, AI, and technology to provide strategic planning solutions for communities. Prior to this, Betsy served as the President of Abantu International, where they focused on fundraising, addressing global issues, and facilitating sustainable projects in Uganda. Betsy also co-owned Abantu Arts Fusion, where they were responsible for various aspects of the business, including compliance, marketing, and communications. Betsy's experience in the education sector includes roles as a Digital Learning & Development Manager and LMS Coordinator at the Association of Christian Schools International, where they contributed to the development and implementation of learning solutions. Before that, they worked at Awana® in roles such as Global Leadership Development and Program Manager, Curriculum Developer, Senior Instructional Designer, and Instructional Designer. Betsy's early career included positions as an Executive Assistant and Insurance Processor at Stassen Insurance, as well as an Intern at UGAFODE.

Betsy Sentamu earned a Master's Degree in Educational Technology Leadership from The George Washington University's Graduate School of Education and Human Development. Betsy attended the university from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, Betsy completed their Bachelor of Arts in Community Development at Wheaton College, where they studied between 2000 and 2003.

Additionally, Betsy Sentamu obtained a certification in Service Hub Software from HubSpot Academy in April 2022.
