Derek Hill, MBA - CISSP, is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in application security and software engineering. Currently serving as Senior Director of Software Engineering (Application Security) at ForgeRock, Derek has successfully built a global security team and developed a secure development lifecycle framework for diverse product offerings. Prior roles include Director of Application Security Engineering at ForgeRock, SANS Community and Mentor instructor, and Cloud Solutions & Operations (CSO) Security Manager at HP, where Derek transformed a struggling application security team into a high-performing unit. With a strong educational foundation, including an MBA from Willamette University and a BA in Business Administration from Oregon State University, Derek is recognized for implementing best practices in security and leading high-impact technical teams across various prominent organizations.
