Jay Nair has extensive experience in the telecommunications and technology sectors, currently serving as the Sr. Director of Customer Solutions Planning, Architecture & Engineering at Zayo Group since March 2016. Jay has held various positions at Zayo, including Director of Solution Engineering and Sr. Solution Engineer, where responsibilities included overseeing the technical aspects of sales and implementing complex communication solutions. Prior to Zayo, Jay worked at Seagate Technology as a Sr. Staff Program Manager, focusing on supply chain automation and process improvement. Jay’s earlier roles include leadership positions at AboveNet, where efforts centered on engineering methods and service delivery efficiency, and Metromedia Fiber Network, where key contributions involved fiber analysis and operational standardization. Jay holds a Bachelor of Science in Ceramic & Material Science Engineering from Rutgers University.
