Rob Day

Rob Day is a seasoned professional in the telecommunications industry with extensive experience in pre-sales engineering and technical support. Rob has been a Senior Sales Engineer at Zayo Group since June 2019, specializing in delivering Ethernet, IP, and Cloud Carrier solutions. Prior to this role, Rob held positions as a Senior Technical Support Engineer at Infinera, focusing on mobile backhaul solutions for major clients such as BT and Vodafone, and as a Senior Technical Support professional at Coriant, Inc. Rob also contributed as a Specialist Support Engineer for Tellabs and served as a Resident Engineer for Vodafone UK, leading migration efforts for the Backhaul Evolution Project. Rob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geographical Information Systems from Kingston University, complemented by foundational education in the same field from Southend High School.
